UAE University: World’s Top 2% Scientists!
With 32 scholars in the top 2 percent of the most cited scientists in the world, the United Arab Emirates University, UAEU, has accomplished a great global achievement.
The esteemed list was recently released in 2019 by a study group headed by Stanford University and ranked top scholars across academic disciplines. A total of 178 UAE scientists, including 32 UAEU faculty members, have been ranked.
He reiterated that this accomplishment confirms his leadership and distinction in academic science and is proud to host a community of renowned scholars in their respective fields. Dr. Qasim Mohammad Al-Mudallal, professor of applied mathematics at the College of Technology, ranked 71 in the world in Numerical and Computational Mathematics, Dr. Mohammad Al-Saleh, professor of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, ranked 84 in the world according to the impact, Dr. Thomas Ahrens of the College of Business and Econology, are among the UAEU researchers listed in the 2019 ranking.
