UAE: The Vision for Greatness.
The United Arab Emirates has followed a rational foreign policy based on the values and charter of the United Nations since its creation on December 2 , 1971, by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The UAE ‘s relations with all countries in the world have always been distinguished by this consistent approach. Consequently, the recent speech delivered to the United Nations General Assembly by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, articulated the developments that constitute the fundamental context for Emirati diplomacy, which is marked by a considerable degree of dynamism, efficacy and the capacity to step beyond the context of traditionalism and stance.
