The possibilities for two-way investment flows will be discussed in detail at the first UAE-Israel Business Leaders’ All-Virtual Meeting, which runs from 14–16 December.

The goal of the conference is to encourage and accelerate dialogue between companies in the two countries, as they discuss the opportunities provided by the Abraham Accords and lay the groundwork for cross-sector collaboration. Gulf News and ‘TheMarker’, the Israeli business newspaper owned by Haaretz, are organizing the gathering.

The summit will take place online and will be broadcast via their websites. Market leaders and top government officials from both countries will be among the speakers, speaking in forums mediated by prominent reporters from the two news groups. The keynote addresses will be delivered by Reuven Rivlin, President of Israel, and by Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Finance, on the ‘economic dividend of the agreement.’ Dr. Tariq Bin Hendi, Director-General of ADIO (Abu Dhabi Investment Office); Mohammed Shael AlSaadi, CEO, Corporate Strategic Relations, Dubai Economy; and Mansoor Al Marar, Director, Commercial Region, Kizad, are both speakers from the local public sector. A groundbreaking initiative between Gulf News and TheMarker, including public and private sector leaders in the UAE and Israel, is the three-day virtual summit.

The goal is to foster cooperation between business groups, to explore the possibilities provided by the peace settlement and to lay the foundations for partnership in many sectors of the economy.
