The United Arab Emirates shows its support to Afghanistan by sending tons of food supplies and aid!

As one of its Ramadan efforts, the UAE today dispatched a plane carrying 37 metric tons of food supplies to Afghanistan. “The UAE has always stood with brotherly and friendly countries in all situations that need unification and cooperation,” said His Excellency Eisa Salem Aldhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. In this context, the UAE today sent a plane to Afghanistan with food assistance to help families in need during this holy month.”

“The UAE sent two planes to Afghanistan bringing 7.2 metric tons of medical supplies to help roughly 7,000 medical staff as they work to contain the virus,” he continued. To present, the UAE has given over 2000 metric tons of assistance to 135 countries in response to the COVID-19 crisis, assisting over 2 million medical professionals.
