The rest 20 matches of the Pakistan Super League Twenty20 tournament, which has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be played in Abu Dhabi, according to Pakistan’s Geo News. The Emirates Cricket Board has given the Pakistan Cricket Board the green light to host the series in the UAE. PCB announced earlier this month that the UAE was being considered as a possible location for the Pakistan Super League’s final 20 matches. In March, the PCB’s premier competition was called off when seven people, including six players, tested positive for COVID-19.

The PSL will continue on June 1st, with the remaining 20 games taking place in Karachi’s National Stadium and the final on June 20th, according to the governing authority. The decision was communicated to the PCB as soon as the ECB received authorization from the UAE government to hold the PSL matches in Abu Dhabi, according to Geo News. “The PCB is currently concentrating on the league’s operational aspects, including as finding out how to get the players to Abu Dhabi, and will reach out to franchises to inform them of the SOPs that they would be required to follow in the UAE.”
