Patrick Moody, the British ambassador to the UAE, praised the UAE for assisting in the evacuation of British nationals from Afghanistan. Mr. Moody stated that the UAE had offered all conceivable cooperation from all of its departments to guarantee the effectiveness of the airlift. Mr. Moody said in a video message recorded at Dubai’s Al Maktoum Airport that, “earlier today, during my visit to Dubai Al Maktoum Airport, I talked about how the UK performs in collaboration and coordination with the United Arab Emirates to safely relocate British nationals and our Afghan coworkers from Kabul to the UK.”

The Emirates’ remarkable kindness and concern for not just their own people but also for persons of other nationalities has had a significant impact on the lives of refugees, evacuees, and those in higher positions. What a kind and generous act coming from the UAE. They truly are a humanitarian country!
