Saudi Arabia’s National Day is observed every year on 23 September, and this year, the kingdom celebrates its 90th anniversary after the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz was renamed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after a royal decree issued in 1932 by the late King Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud. Backed by its Vision 2030, authorized by the Cabinet on 25 April 2016, Saudi Arabia has seen a transition process that, attributable to the rise of multi-million and multi-billion dollar mega and gigaprojects, has been closely pursued by the kingdom’s construction industry.

The kingdom is leaving no room for doubt to accomplish its Vision 2030 roadmap, which also seeks to reduce the nation’s dependency on oil-based revenues, from entertainment to travel, accessibility and transportation to infrastructure and electricity. While the kingdom hopes for Construction Week on this occasion, Saudi Arabia has dropped some names of the 10 projects currently under development that are expected to push reform in the country, generate hundreds and thousands of jobs, and improve economic growth. One of the 10 is the Red Sea Project, Qiddiya, Amaala, NEOM, Diriyah Gate, Riyadh Metro, and many more!

Indeed, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is celebrating their 90th National Day very well and great! Another year added to Saudi Arabia’s years of successes!
