MENA Climate Opening Week 2022 commenced its first day!
The Government of the United Arab Emirates will hold the first-ever Middle East and North Africa Climate Week in Dubai from March 28 to March 31, 2022. Governments, cities, commercial sector leaders, financial institutions, and civil society will meet at MENA Climate Week 2022 to debate ways to move ahead from the epidemic by identifying possibilities to improve climate action. The event will bring together key stakeholders to assess regional climate action, debate climate problems and possibilities, and exhibit bold solutions.
The conference will build on the accomplishments of COP26 by examining climate risk resilience, the transition to a low-emission economy, and collaboration to address pressing issues. It will boost collaboration and integrate climate action into pandemic recovery efforts around the world.
The UAE Climate Change Research Network will organize a research conference on the sidelines of MENA Climate Week 2022, with the goal of further investigating the work done by members of various research clusters and providing a framework for the present level of knowledge in the field. The conference will emphasize the importance of collaboration among scholars and encourage the spread of information in this subject.
